Effect of SAIB/Solvent Ratio on Release of Methylene Blue from
SABER Drops in Gelatin
This figure shows the effect of solvent content on the release of
a water-soluble dye, methylene blue, from SABER into gelatin.
In the first frame, the SABER formulation is being injected into the gelatin.
- The remaining frames show the release of the dye as a function
of time.
- The droplets contained methylene blue at 0.02 wt %.
- Three SAIB/ethanol ratios were used (a) 90:10, (b) 70:30, (c)
50:50.
- The release of methylene blue from the droplets is shown at 0,
1, and 4 hours.
